You don't have to confirm what God has already affirmed.

Do you ever find yourself waiting for others to tell you what you already know?  Despite the fact that God has already affirmed, proclaimed and declared some things about us, we often times spend a lifetime waiting on others to give us confirmation of those things. I know what I am talking about because for years this was how I lived my life.

Although I was well aware of the gifts, talents and abilities God had placed deep within in me, I was subconsciously waiting on others to come along and confirm what I already knew. Perhaps that's not your story, but as a recovering people pleaser, I received my validation and esteem from what others thought about me.  

However, I am thankful that my eyes have been open and I am now clear that while confirmations and words of encouragement are good from those around, they are no longer a requirement for me living my best life.  Instead, I focus my mind and heart on what my Heavenly Father has already determined about me.  He molded me together and custom created a divine destiny just for me, and He has done the same for you as well.

He has already equipped us with everything we need. While it's perfectly fine to accept the kind words and "that a girls" from those close to us, it should never hinder us or prevent us from shining bright.  I am committed to living my life to the fullest and accomplishing everything God has created me to do.  I hope you will join me in doing the same my sister.  ​

~ Priceless Prayer ~

Lord, please forgive me for the times I have given more weight to those around me than to what you have already declared over me.  I thank you for helping me recognize my insecurities and for reminding me of what you have already determined to be true about me.  You love me unconditionally and have equipped me with every gift, talent and ability I need to SHINE in this world.  I thank you for allowing me to take my eyes off of others and to affix them on you.  You know me best because you custom created me, and I can rest assure that  I am fabulous because you don't make no mess.  Amen.
