A Throne of your own

Do you remember the fairy tale of Goldilocks and the Three bears.  Remember how she feverishly went from seat to seat in the bears little house, trying to fit into chairs that weren't designed for her.

It reminds me of how often people envy others gifts, talents and accomplishments, secretly wishing they were in their seat.  They squeeze and squirm trying to fit in, but just like with little Goldilocks, it never works out well.  

The reality is as Daughters of The King, God has given each one of us our own unique gifts, talents and abilities to accomplish great things. He has also given us the power to rule and reign.

In 1 Samuel 2:8 it says, "He seats them with Princes and has them inherit a throne of honor". So, instead of envying others, it's time to thank God for the throne He has custom created for you and climb on in. Take your position as the Daughter of the King of Kings and rule and reign right where you are.  edit.

Priceless Prayer:  
Lord, please forgive me for the times when I envy others.  I am truly thankful for the gifts, talents and abilities you have given me.  I know you have more than equipped me to rule and reign where I am and I ask for your your wisdom and guidance on how to do so.  Thank you for the throne I have inherited and for given me the grace to do what you have called me to do.
