Have you been holding on to an offense or finding it hard to let go of something someone did to you? In life people will hurt you and disappoint you from time to time and unfortunately there is nothing you can really do about it. However, we each have a choice whether to hold on to offense or to let it go.
It's exhausting being mad at someone, often times when they have moved on with their lives and don't even have a clue that you're upset. Today, I challenge you to let go. Make a decision to live life to the fullest. Anger and unforgiveness only holds you captive and prevents you from living your best life. Make a decision today to move forward. Drop being bitter and add more glitter to your life.
What are you waiting on? Guess what? There will never be a perfect time to pursue your dream. You will never have enough money. Your family will never be in the perfect position. You will never have enough experience or even confidence for that matter. Just start moving forward in the direction of your dreams. I challenge you to do one little thing today. Don't suppress the dream or defer it to another day. Write the vision as God has given it to you and move forward. One small step today will get you closer to your destiny tomorrow. The world is waiting on you. Let's move it!!!
As another year comes to a close, it is a good time to reflect and prepare for the year ahead. For some people, this year has been outstanding and as you wrap up the year you are overjoyed with all you have accomplished and obtained over the past 12 months. For many other, this year has been filled with unexpected challenges, attacks and situations you never could have fathomed a few days ago, much less a few months ago.
Regardless of which side of the spectrum you sit, I challenge you today to ask yourself, am I currenlty living in the fullness of what God has for me? Am I actively using my gifts and talents and pursing my life's purpose? If not, the next question is why not? Could fear, doubt or distractions be getting in your way? How about a long list of excuses you have held on to for far too long? Some may be dealing with exhaustion because they have been fighting with the real issues of life hitting them upside the head daily.
I was recently reminded while wrestling with a major project that has taken far longer than I could have ever anticipated, that I could whine about my situation and remain stuck, or I could shut my mouth, put my head down, and press forward and accomplish the fullness of what God has for me.
A little overwhelmed to say the least and even frustrated with the snail-paced progress it feels like I am making at times, the easy thing to do is to throw my hands up in defeat and walk away.
But as I voiced my frustration to a loving God, asking Him the questions that so many do and praying from a mighty miracle from Heaven, it's as if God Himself, whispered to me a simple statement, "while you've been waiting on me my daughter, I have been waiting on you".
Whether we realize it or not, deep within, we all have a longing to know and pursue our purpose. It's what we were made for. The reason we were created in the first place.
Many people know their purpose but are frightened by it, and as a result tend to ignore it or even run from it. Yet others search high and low, not realizing the very thing they are in search of has already been placed in their hand and heart.
When it comes to your purpose, don't stress, just press towards it. Seek God and begin to move using the very gifts He has entrusted to you. As you move forward using those gifts and talents, your purpose will become vividly clear.
